Review : Vax Rapide Spring Carpet Cleaner
Price : £40 from Asda
Conclusion : Does clean but I guess it is probably better to buy an alternative
Score : 4/10
Score per cost 6/10
Quick Info
The cleaner brush does not electrically roll. It is just a brush like a draft-excluder
The liquid comes out a flute-like pipe. Doesn't look to be a good way to spread the liquid
Doesn't feel that the vacuum is tight enough to the carpet for best suction
Noisy
Comes with 1 bottle of vax cleaner
Relatively easy to use
Easy to construct (if the 4 screws fir exactly at first go)
Really is 'vax-lite', stripped to the bone
Vax cleaner is too dear. I will break the guarantee and use washing powders etc
It does clean (water was mucky), but I presume is poorly compared to dearer models. The brush not being a moving brush was big disappointment.

Summary : Great, as long as it is under £10
Cost under £10 from Tesco
Uses a small radio nanoreciever
Signal is excellent. I hope it is encrypted (packaging doesn't say)
The mouse can work from many feet away from the computer (I wish it didn't)
2 buttons and a scrollwheel. The scrollwhell is slightly flimsy but ok
Uses 1 AA battery. Estimated to last a long time
Optical function is fine. Works on 'glossy' ground too
Don't like :
Shape. It is the standard mouse shape. I prefer whe nthey are curved to fit the right hand
Logitech never give enough info on products. For instance, is it encrypted ?
