Microsoft Arc Keyboard
I recently bought a Microsoft Arc keyboard. I have used Microsoft hardware before and usually find their hardware well designed and robust (ignoring the price). This is a beautiful looking keyboard with a convex (or is it concave ?) shape, that presumably makes the keys more ergonomically shaped for typing. It is basically a keyboard without the extra right-side keys you usually get in a normal keyboard. The size of the keys themselves feel the same as my old full-size keyboard. The keys feel robust and are reasonably quiet when typing. They are the low-level type keys. All the basic keys I need are there (though I couldn't  find a quick 'sleep/off' option. I use the windows key that takes 3 steps to get to 'sleep'). The arrow keys have been bundled into one key at the bottom right. I have seen reviews not like this but it seems ok to me. The keys seem easy to use (takes a while to get used to a new keyboard). Most of the keys in the top row have a double function. F1-F6 also act as F7-F12 when used with Function button (or control mode ?). Printscreen is Function and Home pressed.

The nano-transceiver comes magnetically stuck to the back of the keyboard. I guess stuck there, there is a danger of losing it.  I wouldn't pay the full RRP for a keyboard like this (mine was half price) but it's a great 'mini' keyboard for long or short typing use (in my opinion). Some may find the low-lying keys make errors easier to make but I find it reasonable.

There is also a fine looking Arc Mouse, but I have not used one.

A great keyboard for the price I paid (£26)
