Review : Selle Italia Qbik bicycle saddle

Novice Review (commuter cyclist)
Selle Italia Qbik bicycle saddle
Price : Around £25/ $40 ?
Verdict : I found it good quality but uncomfy
Marks out of 10 : 7 ? (for reason above)
Marks out of 10 for price : 8 ?
Specs :
Synthetic leather microfibre cover (Ryslan and N6 nylon)
Waterproof
FeC Alloy rails
Weight : 270g
Length 27cm, Width 14cm at maximum width
Some differentiated padding

Opinion :
I found this to be good quality but after about 4 miles of commuting cycling I found it to be uncomfy (i.e. a sore bum) as the 'padding' is pretty hard. I was wearing jeans, so perhaps it is comfier for keen cyclists who wear padded cycling shorts.

Decathlon : cheap bicycle inner tubes

Cheap inner tubes (3 pack) from Decathlon
price : £1.99
overall rating : 1/10
rating for value : 3/10

I'm a fan of Decathlon shops. I thought I would try their cheap £2 3-pack of inner tubes for bikes. The quality was so bad I could not recommend them. Maybe I was unlucky. With one the valve didn't seem hold air in. With another, the rubber around the valve seems to be too thick, meaning it does not expand like the rest of the valve. I get this problem quite often with cheap inner tubes. It makes it perfect for bursting at some point. Also it often bulges out of the tire, ready to burst. Another effect is that it feels like you are riding over a bump.

Conclusion : no use
